The Birth of You Belong Too
Over the years, as we built relationships with women and young adults — some long term, others just passing through — we began to uncover something powerful: a shared need for connection, support, and safe spaces to grow. In our conversations, we found ourselves reflecting on what we had longed for in our own younger years — a place to speak freely, to be heard, and to be gently held accountable as we navigated life. At first, our focus was on young mothers, but as our community grew, so did our perspective. By around 2015, we noticed something undeniable: there was a large and growing group of young women — not yet mothers — who were resonating deeply with the heart of our mission. They too needed mentorship, encouragement, and a community that saw them for who they were and who they could become. And so, You Belong Too was born. Created specifically for young women ages 15 to 23, You Belong Too extends the same values and approach of our original program — relational mentorship, one-on-one coaching, group discussions, and space for real, honest growth. These young women may be walking different paths, but they share the same need: to be supported, challenged, and empowered in a space that feels safe and real. Through You Belong Too, we are nurturing the next generation of confident, capable women — giving them a place to belong before life demands that they figure it all out alone.
Guiding Young Women Toward Growth and Greatness
The Young Women’s Program offers year-round coaching and mentoring for young women. Each quarter, we host a 6-week “Queens Courts” session, culminating in a group weekend retreat. Every quarter, participants focus on a different topic, engaging in fun and interactive weekly group check-in meetings. These sessions foster growth and connection among like-minded women.
Participants also receive one-on-one coaching with an assigned coach. We award yearly scholarships to students in the program and provide financial assistance to mentees in good standing, as funds allow. Being part of “You Belong Too” not only promotes personal growth but also supports mental well-being, helping participants navigate life’s challenges.
